NBA: San Antonio 100, Toronto 80

SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan paced San Antonio's balanced attack with 15 points Wednesday and the Spurs pulled away in the second half to defeat Toronto 100-80.

The Raptors had won five in a row after opening the season with a 4-19 record. Their winning streak came to an end in the opener of a three-game road trip.

San Antonio dominated the final two periods after taking a seven-point halftime lead. Manu Ginobili contributed 14 points for San Antonio, which won its third in a row, while Tony Parker had 13.

Alan Anderson and Amir Johnson both scored 12 points for Toronto.

Toronto had been trying for its first six-game win streak in four seasons. San Antonio has won seven consecutive home games and the Spurs are 11-2 on their own floor this season.
