SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Stephen Curry hit four of Golden State's nine 3-pointers Wednesday and the Warriors came through with an unexpected 94-83 road win over Utah.
The Jazz had lost at home only twice this season, but they melted away in the second half to a Golden State team that has enjoyed a solid start to the campaign.
The Warriors won on the road for the 11th time this year, equaling their entire total from the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season.
Curry scored 23 points, David Lee added 18 and nine rebounds and both Klay Thompson and Jarrett Jack delivered 15 for Golden State. The Warriors have won nine out of 12.
Al Jefferson led Utah with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Golden State took a 17-point lead into the fourth quarter and easily held off a late Utah rush.
