NBA: Portland 96, Phoenix 93

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Damian Lillard poured in 25 points and hit a key basket in the final minute Saturday, lifting the Portland Trail Blazers over Phoenix 96-93.

Lillard dished off seven assists and connected on a 19-foot jump shot with 41 seconds remaining to give Portland a five-point lead, sealing the Blazers' fifth straight victory.

J.J. Hickson scored 19 points to go with 15 rebounds, while LaMarcus Aldridge added 17 and nine as Portland wrapped up a six-game home stand with a 5-1 mark.

Shannon Brown (15 points) and Jermaine O'Neal (13, five rebounds) also made key contributions in the win.

Marcin Gortat fired in 18 points and grabbed nine boards to lead the Suns, who fell to 2-11 on the road.
