PHOENIX, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Veteran outfielder Cody Ross has signed a three-year deal with Arizona, the New York Daily News, MLB Network and Yahoo! Sports reported Saturday.

Citing team sources, the outlets said Ross and the Diamondbacks have agreed to terms on a contract worth $26 million.

Ross, who turns 32 Sunday, batted .267 with 22 home runs and 81 RBI last season through 130 games for the Boston Red Sox while earning $3 million -- his second-highest totals over his nine-year career.

The right-handed hitter has compiled a .262 average with 122 homers and 452 RBI in 887 career games with Detroit, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati, Florida, San Francisco and the Red Sox.
