BALTIMORE, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis isn't ready to return to action from a torn triceps injury and will be inactive for Sunday's game, the team has indicated.
Lewis wasn't on the active list released Saturday, meaning he will remain on the injured reserve list for this week's contest against the New York Giants.
Hopes for his return were kindled when he participated in practice in each of the last three weeks.
Lewis has been out with the right arm injury since Week 6.
The NFL Network reported the 13-time Pro Bowl selection may also miss the Ravens' final regular season game Dec. 30 against Cincinnati.
