CINCINNATI, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Dan Bailey's 40-yard field goal as time expired Sunday boosted the grieving Dallas Cowboys over Cincinnati 20-19.

The Cowboys rallied from a nine-point, fourth-quarter deficit for the victory, which came one day after practice squad linebacker Jerry Brown died in a car accident involving teammate Josh Brent.

Police said Brown was a passenger in Brent's car when it crashed at a high rate of speed early Saturday. Brent was arrested on intoxication manslaughter charges.

Dallas cut Cincinnati's lead to 19-17 when Dez Bryant nabbed a 27-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo with 6:35 remaining, followed by Bailey's decisive boot on the last play of the game.

The Bengals (7-6) saw their four-game winning streak snapped despite outgaining Dallas 336-288,
