NBA: Sacramento 99, Portland 80

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 9 (UPI) -- DeMarcus Cousins and John Salmons each scored 19 points Saturday and the Sacramento Kings posted a third straight win, 99-80 over Portland.

Cousins hauled down 12 rebounds and Salmons hit a trio of 3-pointers while dishing off 11 assists for the Kings, who recorded their first road victory of the season.

Aaron Brooks (14 points), Jason Thompson (12 with eight rebounds) and Francisco Garcia (12 points) provided a balanced attack for Sacramento, which outscored the Trail Blazers 34-24 in the third quarter.

LaMarcus Aldridge provided 17 points and 10 boards for Portland, which managed only 38.7 percent shooting in dropping the first of a six-game home stand.
