NBA: Milwaukee 108, Charlotte 93

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Marquis Daniels sent Milwaukee to a strong start Friday and the Bucks coasted to a 108-93 victory over Charlotte.

Daniels scored 10 of his 18 points in the opening period, during which Milwaukee built a 33-20 lead. The Bucks continued to pull away until they owned a 25-point advantage heading into the final 12 minutes.

Ersan Ilyasova came off the bench to score eight of Milwaukee's last nine points in the first period and he eventually led the Bucks with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Brandon Jennings added 15 points for Milwaukee and Monta Ellis had 13.

Milwaukee had dropped its previous two games. Charlotte has lost six straight after climbing two games over the .500 mark.

The Bobcats were led by Gerald Henderson with 19 points and Kemba Walker with 16.
