DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Jiyai Shin takes over the No. 7 spot in the world women's golf rankings, pushing Ryu So-yeon into eighth place, Monday's update rankings show.

The Shin-Ryu switch was the only change in the Top 10 as the LPGA has ended its 2012 schedule. Other tours, however, are still having competitions.

Shin's ranking points scoring average is 7.12 while Ryu's slips to 7.05, narrowing ahead of world No. 9 Ai Miyazato (7.04).

Yani Tseng is No. 1 for a 95th consecutive week. Only Lorena Ochoa (158 weeks) has been on top of the rankings longer. Tseng's stay on top of the rankings through 2012 marks the third time that has happened. Ochoa was No. 1 throughout 2008 and 2009.

Shin was No. 1 in the world until Tseng took over the top spot on Feb. 14, 2011.

Tseng has a rankings average of 11.65. Choi Na-yeon is second at 9.25 followed by Stacy Lewis (9.02) and Inbee Park (8.56).

Suzann Pettersen comes in fifth with a 7.67 average. She's followed by No. 6 Feng Shanshan at 7.48.

Mika Miyazato is the No. 10-ranked golfer. Her average is 6.22.
