NASHVILLE, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Outfielder Angel Pagan has re-signed with the San Francisco Giants for four years, the team announced Monday at baseball's winter meetings.

Terms of the deal weren't released, but multiple reports indicated it is worth $40 million and is pending a physical exam.

Pagan posted a career year during the Giants' run to the 2012 World Series championship, hitting .288 with eight home runs and 56 RBI, including 38 doubles and a major-league best 15 triples.

The seven-year pro -- who reportedly turned down a similar offer from Philadelphia -- has compiled a .281 average with 41 home runs and 265 RBI in his career with the Giants, New York Mets and the Chicago Cubs.
