NBA: Miami 102, Brooklyn 89

MIAMI, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade fired in 34 points Saturday and Miami pulled away late to register a 102-89 win over Brooklyn in a meeting of Eastern Conference leaders.

LeBron James finished with 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists as the Heat claimed sole possession of the conference top spot.

Miami broke open a close game by outscoring Brooklyn 52-30 in the second half and remained undefeated at home while downing the Nets for the 12th straight time.

Andray Blatche popped in 20 points and grabbed eight boards for Brooklyn, who were playing without injured center Brook Lopez.

Deron Williams provided a double-double of 10 points and 12 assists for the Nets.
