MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Alexey Shved scored the first two baskets in an 11-point, fourth-quarter run Friday that lifted Minnesota to a 95-85 win over Milwaukee.
The loss by the Bucks left none of the five teams in the NBA's Central Division with a winning record.
The Timberwolves had a 70-69 lead with 9:51 to play and then held the Bucks scoreless for 5 minutes while building the advantage to 81-69. Shved hit a jumper and a 3-pointer to start the run.
Shved and Luke Ridnour both scored 16 points while J.J. Barea and Kevin Love had 15 for Minnesota. Love added 14 rebounds.
Milwaukee, which fell behind by 10 at intermission before briefly rallying in the fourth period, was led by Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings with 18 points each.
