PITTSBURGH, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers said Friday Charlie Batch will start at quarterback at Baltimore Sunday, again replacing Ben Roethlisberger, ruled out due to injury.

Roethlisberger was injured Nov. 11 and has missed two straight games -- both losses for the Steelers.

Byron Leftwich first stepped in for Roethlisberger but he was hurt Nov. 18 against the Ravens. Batch started last week, a game in which Pittsburgh had eight turnovers in losing to Cleveland.

Batch is a 12-year NFL veteran who has started 54 of the 81 games in which he's appeared. He is 20-of-34 passing for 199 yards and three interceptions this season.

Roethlisberger is recovering from rib and shoulder injuries.

Leftwich suffered a broken rib in the first Baltimore game.

The Steelers said linebacker LaMarr Woodley and offensive tackle Mike Adams will miss Sunday's game. Both have ankle injuries.

Safety Troy Polamalu has worked out with the team all week after missing seven games and is listed as probable for Sunday.
