NBA: Philadelphia 100, Dallas 98

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Philadelphia's Evan Turner scored 22 points Tuesday and the 76ers overcame some poor late shooting to hold off hard-charging Dallas 100-98.

Jrue Holiday contributed 18 points along with seven assists, but missed two make-able jump shots in the final 1:04, allowing Dallas to pull within two points on a pair of Vince Carter baskets.

The ball was tipped to Jae Crowder, who missed a desperation 3-pointer for Dallas at the buzzer.

Thaddeus Young had 20 points for Philadelphia.

Chris Kaman led the Mavericks with 20 points. Shawn Marion and former Sixer Elton Brand put in 17 each as Dallas fell for the seventh time in 10 games.

Carter finished with 15 points for the Mavs.
