Tseng continues run atop women's golf

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Yani Tseng sits atop the women's world golf rankings but there are several changes in the Top 10 as the 2012 season winds down.

The LPGA is idle until February but women's professional golf has several events in Asia before then.

Tseng's ranking point average of 11.64 is well ahead of No. 2-ranked Choi Na-yeon (9.21), with LPGA Tour Player of the Year Stacy Lewis ranked third at 8.97 and leading money winner Inbee Park in fourth with an average of 8.64.

Only one other player -- ninth-ranked Ai Miyazato -- in the Top 10 keeps her same spot as last week.

Suzann Pettersen edges past Feng Shanshan for the No. 5 ranking. She has an average of 7.62 while Feng comes in sixth at 7.58.

LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year Ryu-So-yeon (7.12) moves from eighth to No. 7, forcing Jiyai Shin (7.06) down one place.

Miyazato's rankings points average is 7.00. Mika Miyazato, no relation to Ai Miyazato, takes over the No. 10 ranking with an average of 6.18. Cristie Kerr (6.11) goes from 10th to No. 11.
