NBA: Sacramento 108, Utah 97

SACRAMENTO, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Sacramento's Tyreke Evans scored 27 points Saturday and the Kings used a big third period to put away Utah 108-97.

Jason Thompson turned in an all-around game with 16 points and nine rebounds as the Kings reeled off 9-0 and 11-1 runs in the third period to break open a close contest.

DeMarcus Cousins helped Sacramento's cause with 14 points and nine boards.

The Jazz, meanwhile, continued their road woes despite 17 points from Randy Foye.

Utah fell to 2-7 away from home.
