NBA: Phoenix 114, Portland 87

PHOENIX, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Marcin Gortat was at the forefront of a hot shooting performance Wednesday that vaulted Phoenix to a 114-87 drubbing of Portland.

Gortat made 11-of-14 shots from the field while scoring 22 points and the Suns shot 59 percent as a team. The Suns had lost three in a row.

Phoenix was in front by 13 at the half and outscored the Trail Blazers in every quarter. Markieff Morris added 19 points for the Suns, who held Portland to 40 percent shooting.

Damian Lillard led Portland with 24 points and both Wesley Matthews and Nicolas Batum contributed 13. The Trail Blazers had a three-game winning streak snapped.
