NBA: Denver 97, Memphis 92

MEMPHIS, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Danilo Gallinari's 26 points helped the Denver Nuggets snap Memphis' eight-game winning streak with a 97-92 decision over the Grizzlies Monday.

Gallinari netted six key points down the stretch and JaVale McGee (15 points) provided a decisive tip-in with 46.7 seconds remaining as the Nuggets doused the Grizzlies' bid to set a new franchise consecutive wins record.

Kenneth Faried chipped in a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds as Denver ended its own three-game slide.

Rudy Gay put in 22 points and Marc Gasol finished with 16 for Memphis, which was held scoreless over the final 2:11.

Zach Randolph helped out with 12 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.
