LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard netted 23 points and hauled down 18 rebounds Sunday, lifting the Los Angeles Lakers to a 103-90 victory over Sacramento.

Kobe Bryant added 20 points with six rebounds and six assists, while Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace contributed 18 points each as the Lakers won a second straight game for the first time this season.

Jordan Hill came off the bench to provide eight points and seven rebounds as Los Angeles dominated the boards 50-39.

Jimmer Fredette supplied 18 points and Jason Thompson chipped in with 15 and 10 rebounds for the Kings, who lost center DeMarcus Cousins to a two-game suspension before the contest.

Cousins was sanctioned for confronting Spurs announcer Sean Elliot in a threatening manner during the Kings' Friday loss to San Antonio.
