CLEVELAND, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Tyler Zeller has been diagnosed with a broken cheekbone and concussion and will miss an undetermined number of games.
Zeller was hit in the face during Monday's game against the Clippers in Los Angeles. While X-rays taken at the Staples Center were negative, subsequent examinations revealed a non-displaced fracture of the left orbital bone.
Zeller was also found to have a concussion and will undergo additional testing as outlined by the NBA's concussion protocols.
The Cavaliers said there is no timetable for Zeller's return but he has been ruled out for Cleveland's game Wednesday in Oakland against the Golden State Warriors.
