Jones-Drew to miss third game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Jacksonville running back Maurice Jones-Drew is going to miss another game, Jaguars Coach Mike Mularkey said Monday.

Jones-Drew, who was last season's rushing leader, will remain sidelined with a sprained left foot when his team plays Indianapolis Thursday. He has already missed two games because of the injury suffered in the Jaguars' Oct. 21 loss at Oakland.

Mularkey said the team is hopeful the running back will be able to return to action Nov. 18 at Houston.

Rashad Jennings is picking up the slack during Jones-Drew's absence. He has 104 yards on 29 carries and 63 yards on nine receptions in the past two weeks.

Jacksonville has lost five in a row, including a 31-14 loss to Detroit Sunday that left the Jaguars at 1-7.
