STATE COLLEGE, Pa., Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Former boxer Sugar Ray Leonard spoke about his sexual abuse as a child at a Penn State conference and said he would seek a prominent role on the issue.
In an unprepared address to a sexual abuse conference at the university where convicted sex offender Jerry Sandusky was employed, the former welterweight champion gave an emotional 30-minute talk, saying, "I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse," then declaring, "I'm going to be the poster child.
