VALENCIA, Spain, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- No. 1-seeded David Ferrer had little trouble Thursday finishing off a straight-set second-round win at the Valencia Open in Spain.
Ferrer won 70 percent of the points on serve in a 6-4, 6-2 decision over Albert Ramos. Ramos pooled enough receiving point wins to notch a break in the second set but Ferrer generally was in control when he served.
