DETROIT, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson is out for the rest of the season with a broken right leg, Coach Jim Schwartz says.

Burleson was hurt while making his only catch of the game in the third quarter of Detroit's 13-7 loss to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field Monday night.

Burleson was tackled by Tim Jennings after the 16-yard reception and had to be helped off the field.

The 10-year veteran had 27 receptions for 240 yards and two touchdowns in six games this season.
