Stosur, Wozniacki make Kremlin Cup finals

MOSCOW, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Samantha Stosur beat Ana Ivanovic in three sets Saturday to earn a spot in the finals of the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament in Moscow.

Stosur rallied to oust the former world No. 1 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 and will face third-seeded Caroline Wozniacki in the championship match.

Stosur won 53 percent of the total points in the evenly played match that went by in 1 hour, 50 minutes.

Stosur, who was playing in her third semifinal of the fall and is 3-11 lifetime in finals matches, has not won a title since the U.S. Open last year.

Wozniacki out-dueled Sofia Arvidsson in Saturday's semifinals 6-3, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4 to make it to the finals for the second time this year.
