GLENDALE, Ariz., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Buffalo's Rian Lindell booted a 25-yard field goal in overtime Sunday and the Bills gained a share of the AFC East lead with a 19-16 victory over Arizona.

The Bills couldn't score on their first overtime possession and punted it away to the Cardinals, but Jarius Byrd intercepted Arizona quarterback John Skelton and returned it 29 yards to the Cardinals' 6-yard line.

That set up Lindell's decisive field goal, which lifted the Bills to a 3-3 mark and into four-way tie with New England, the New York Jets and Miami atop the division.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was held to 153 yards on 18-of-32 passing, while C.J. Spiller led Buffalo's rushers with 88 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.

Kevin Kolb played most the game behind center for Arizona (4-2), completing 14-of-26 passes for 128 yards, a touchdown and an interception before being knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter when two Buffalo defenders fell on him.

Team officials said Kolb suffered a chest/rib injury and would undergo an X-ray examination.
