LINZ, Austria, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka collected her sixth title of the year and second in as many weeks with a straight-set win Sunday at the WTA tournament in Austria.
Azarenka, coming off an Oct. 7 win at Beijing, posted a 6-3, 6-4 win Sunday over fifth-seed Julia Goerges in winning the championship of the Generali Ladies Linz tournament.
Azarenka is 13-0 since losing to Serena Williams in a three-set U.S. Open final. Azarenka hasn't dropped a set in the winning streak.
The domination continued Sunday. She didn't face a break point until she was ahead 5-1 in the third set and was able to finish five of her own nine break chances.
Goerges went out fighting, winning four of the final five games and before Azarenka recorded her final break of the match.
Azarenka landed a strong 69 percent of her first serves and won two-thirds of the points when she did.
Azarenka lost only 18 games over her five matches in Linz.
The win gives Azarenka six titles in 2012 and 14 in her career. Goerges slipped to 2-3 in career WTA finals.
