CHESTER, Pa., Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Jack McInerney scored the game's only goal in the 73rd minute Saturday and the Philadelphia Union got by New England 1-0.

McInerney scored his seventh goal of the season when he got a head on Keon Daniel's free kick.

The eighth-place Union improved to 10-15-6.

The Revolution, meanwhile, fell to 7-17-8 and remained without a win against Philadelphia, which came into the league in 2010.
