CHICAGO, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Former Chicago Bear Tommie Harris has been arrested for allegedly threatening a police officer who said he was urinating on a sidewalk outside a Chicago bar.

A police report said Harris pointed to his arms and told an officer something to the effect of "You want some of these bones?" The Chicago Sun Times reported.

The officer, who had approached Harris because he appeared to be intoxicated, considered the statement to be a threat, the report said.

The confrontation occurred just before midnight Monday on the North Side.

Harris was also charged with indecent exposure and urinating in a public way. All three charges are misdemeanors, police said.

In a text message, Harris declined to comment.
