ATLANTA, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham was arrested after police said he wouldn't leave the scene where a woman was threatening to jump from a building.

Abraham was charged with obstruction of police and obstruction of firefighters, both misdemeanors, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Police said Abraham was arrested Monday night in downtown Atlanta after he failed to heed orders to leave the area where the woman was threatening to jump.

The scene had been marked off with crime tape and a firefighter "repeatedly" ordered him to leave, a police report said.

The woman did not jump and was not injured, the report said.
