TOKYO, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Last week's WTA winners Caroline Wozniacki, who won Monday, and Hsieh Su-Wei, who didn't, had tough three-set matches at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo.
One day after winning the KDB Korea Open final, Wozniacki was on the court for first-round play of the tournament in Japan battling Bojana Jovanovski. Wozniacki came away a 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 winner but it took 2 hours, 17 minutes to complete.
