ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hellickson fired 5 2/3 scoreless innings and was backed by B.J. Upton's solo homer Sunday in the Tampa Bay Rays' series-sweeping 3-0 win over Toronto.

Hellickson (9-10) limited the Blue Jays to five hits, striking out six and walking two en route to the victory.

Evan Longoria drove in a pair of runs on two hits as the Rays stretched their winning streak to five games overall.

Toronto's Chad Jenkins (0-2) pitched well in his initial major league start, yielding just one run on two hits over five innings.
