BALTIMORE, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith confirmed Sunday his younger brother Tevin Smith has died in a motorcycle accident.

The younger Smith died early Sunday morning in a northern Virginia accident, multiple reports indicated.

The Ravens player later confirmed the accounts on his Twitter feed.

"I can't believe my little brother is gone ... be thankful for your loved ones and tell them you love them ... this is the hardest thing ever," he wrote, adding, "proud to have him as a brother ... RIP Tevin."

Torrey Smith, a second-year pro out of Maryland, has made four grabs for 108 yards in two games for the Ravens this season.
