NFL: Pittsburgh 27, New York Jets 10

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Ben Roethlisberger successfully used a ball-control offense Sunday, firing two touchdown passes in Pittsburgh's 27-10 win over the New York Jets.

Roethlishberger's offense controlled the ball for 36 1/2 minutes, sealing the victory with a 10-minute, 14-play drive in fourth quarter capped by a 2-yard Isaac Redman TD run.

The Steelers signal-caller threw for 275 yards, completing 24-of-31 passes.

Antonio Brown made seven grabs for 79 yards and Mike Wallace chipped in with five catches for 74 yards and a score as Pittsburgh (1-1) won its 10th straight home opener.

The Jets (1-1) got just 138 passing yards from Mark Sanchez, who finished 10-of-27.
