An MRI Monday revealed the extent of the injury, and the team is expected to put Warren, 31, on the injured reserve list, effectively ending his season, The Denver Post reported Tuesday.
This is the third consecutive year Warren's season has been curtailed by injury. Since he is under contract only through the end of the season, his five plays against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Denver's 31-19 win Sunday night may have been his last in football, the newspaper said.
