GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 9 (UPI) -- David Akers booted a record-tying, 63-yard field goal Sunday and the San Francisco 49ers went on to log a season-opening 30-22 win over Green Bay.

Randy Moss made four grabs for 47 yards with a score, and Frank Gore compiled 112 rushing yards and a TD on 16 carries as San Francisco (1-0) broke a nine-game losing streak to the Packers (0-1).

Reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers amassed 303 passing yards with two touchdowns and one interception, connecting on 30 of his 44 attempts.

Randall Cobb led the Green Bay receiving corps with 77 yards on nine grabs and also returned a punt 75 yards for a score in the fourth quarter.
