MLB: New York Yankees 13, Baltimore 3

BALTIMORE, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Curtis Granderson went 3-for-3 with a home run and five RBI Sunday, keying the New York Yankees' 13-3 rout of Baltimore.

Derek Jeter supplied a homer and knocked in three runs for the Yankees, who split a four-game series at Camden Yards and re-established a one-game lead over the Orioles in the American League East with the victory.

Joba Chamberlain (1-0) earned the victory with five outs -- including four strikeouts -- as the New York bullpen threw 5 2/3 innings of one-hit ball in relief of starter Freddy Garcia.

Baltimore starter Zach Britton (5-2) absorbed the loss, allowing five runs on five hits and five walks in just 3 1/3 innings.
