Creamer grabs 3rd round lead at Kingsmill

WILLIAMSBURG, Va., Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Paula Creamer put herself on track for a 10th career LPGA title Saturday, firing a 6-under 65 for the third-round lead of The Kingsmill Championship.

Creamer -- whose most recent victory came at the 2010 U.S. Women's Open -- used a steady hand to grab the top spot at 16-under 197 after 54 holes.

That was two better than second-round leader Jiyai Shin, who stayed in the hunt with a 2-under 69 Saturday at Kingsmill Resort.

Dewi Claire Schreefel (69) and Danielle Kang (70) shared third place at minus-12.
