NFL: Washington 30, Tampa Bay 3

LANDOVER, Md., Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Roy Helu scored twice and ran for 90 yards Wednesday in leading Washington to a 30-3 exhibition blasting of Tampa Bay.

Evan Royster added 44 yards and a score on 10 carries and Billy Cundiff, signed by Washington on Tuesday, made two field goals in the opening period.

Kirk Cousins completed 15-of-27 passes for 222 yards for the Redskins, who are scheduled to open the regular season on Sept. 9 in New Orleans.

Brett Ratliff went 14-of-30 for 164 yards and three interceptions for Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers host Carolina to begin the campaign.
