FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Miller Bolanos completed an unlikely rally with a goal in the 47th minute Wednesday that allowed Chivas USA to earn a 3-3 tie with New England.

New England built a 3-0 lead in the opening 21 minutes thanks to two goals from Saer Sene and an own goal charged to Rauwshan McKenzie.

Shalrie Joseph then scored twice for Chivas before Bolanos tied it.

Neither team is threatening to grab a spot in the MLS playoffs this season. Chivas (7-10-7) is 10 points out of a post-season berth in the Western Conference and New England (6-14-6) is 15 points away from the playoffs in the East.
