
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Lucas Duda put New York in front with a two-run homer in the third Wednesday and the Mets held on to defeat Philadelphia 3-2.
Four New York relievers teamed to throw 2 2/3 perfect innings to protect the win for Matt Harvey (3-3).
Harvey drove in the first New York run with a single in the second and Duda ended the scoring with his 13th homer of the season.
Harvey went 6 1/3 innings, giving up two runs on six hits and striking out six to help the Mets win their fourth in a row.
Frank Francisco finished off the Mets' relief effort by striking out two in the ninth and earning his 22nd save.
Tyler Cloyd (0-1) made his major-league debut, but suffered the loss after giving up three runs on seven hits in six innings. The Phillies have dropped two straight after winning three in a row over Washington.
