LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Andre Ethier was 4-for-4 with four RBI, a three-run home run and three runs scored Friday to help the Los Angeles Dodgers beat Miami 11-4.

Hanley Ramirez and Juan Rivera homered for the Dodgers, who remained 3 1/2 games behind first-place San Francisco in the NL West.

Matt Kemp had two hits, two runs scored and one RBI for LA, which was reported to be in talks with the Red Sox on a trade that would send first-baseman James Loney and a package of other players to Boston in exchange for first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, outfielder Carl Crawford, right-hander Josh Beckett and infielder Nick Punto.

Jamey Wright (5-3) got the victory, allowing one run on three hits with two strikeouts and a walk in 1 1/2 innings of relief after Dodgers' starter Chad Billingsley left the game with one out in the top of the fourth with a right-elbow injury.

Billingsley allowed three runs on five hits with two walks and a strikeout over 3 1/3 innings.

Marlins' starter Nathan Eovaldi (4-9) who went to Miami in a trade last month that send Ramirez to the Dodgers, took the loss, allowing six runs on seven hits in three innings.

Jose Reyes had a two-run home run and Bryan Petersen drove in a run for the Marlins.
