HOUSTON, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Aaron Hill's three-run homer capped a nine-run fifth inning Saturday that carried the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 12-4 pounding of Houston.
Chris Young got one of his three RBI during the big frame, during which the D-backs sent 12 men to the plate.

Young finished 4-for-5 and socked a solo homer, as did Ryan Wheeler as the D-backs cruised to a victory and clinched the three-game series.
Patrick Corbin (5-4) earned the triumph despite yielding four runs on seven hits. The rookie left-hander allowed one walk.
Astros starter Jordan Lyles (2-10) was knocked around for seven runs (five earned) on eight hits over four complete innings.
Chris Snyder hit a two-run homer and Tyler Greene added a solo shot for Houston.
