LONDON, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Russia won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in men's volleyball, rallying from two sets down and saving two match points to do so.
The silver medal went to Brazil, which was trying to complete a sweep of the volleyball gold medals at these Olympics. The Brazilian women defeated the United States on Saturday in four sets to win their competition.
The bronze medal was won by Italy, which defeated Bulgaria in the third-place match earlier in the day.
