Olympic Medal: M Soccer

LONDON, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Mexico became the surprising Olympic gold medalist in men's soccer Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Brazil in the championship game.

Brazil, seeking its first Olympic title, had to settle for the silver medal. South Korea won the bronze medal on Friday, defeating Japan in the third-place game.
