Olympic Medal: Heavyweight Boxing

LONDON, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine won the Olympic gold medal Saturday in heavyweight boxing.

Usyk defeated Clemente Russo of Italy in the championship bout.

Bronze medalists decided Friday were Tervel Pulev of Bulgaria and Teymur Mammadov of Azerbaijan.
