CHICAGO, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning turned in a tentative debut with the Broncos Thursday, but Denver prevailed with a 31-3 pre-season win over the Chicago Bears.

Manning, who missed last season with a neck injury, threw an interception in the only series he played for the Broncos but finished the night 4-for-7 passing for 44 yards.

Adam Weber and Brock Osweiler threw touchdown passes for the Broncos, and Lance Ball and Xavier Omon scored on the ground.

Jason Campbell started under center for Chicago and was 4-for-5 for 13 yards. Jay Cutler did not play.

Chicago's lone score came on a 47-yard field goal by Robbie Gould in the fourth quarter. The Bears ended up with 132 net yards of offense to Denver's 338 and were 0-for-11 on third-down conversions.
