NFL: Cincinnati 17, New York Jets 6

CINCINNATI, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Cedric Peerman hauled down two touchdown passes Friday, highlighting the Cincinnati Bengals' 17-6 pre-season win over the New York Jets.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton played for two series, going 4-for-9 for 54 yards, while Bruce Gradkowski completed 5-of-10 passes for 86 yards over almost two quarters.

Tim Tebow made his first appearance for the Jets, going 4-for-8 through the air for 27 yards with an interception while also contributing 34 yards on four carries.

Mark Sanchez completed 4-of-6 passes for 21 yards through two drives for New York.
