HARRISON, N.J., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Markus Holgersson and Jan Gunnar Solli notched second-half goals Friday, elevating the New York Red Bulls to a 2-0 win over Houston.
The first tally came in the 61st minute when Tim Cahill headed a Roy Miller cross to a wide-open Holgersson, whose easy finish put New York (12-7-5) ahead for good.

Solli sealed the win with a stoppage-time tap-in goal as the Red Bulls reclaimed the top spot in the Eastern Conference from the Dynamo.
Houston (11-6-7) saw its five-game winning streak and eight-match unbeaten run snapped.
