LONDON, July 30 (UPI) -- Yannick Agnel of France won the Olympic gold medal Monday in the men's 200-meter freestyle.

He added the individual gold medal to the team gold he won on Sunday when he anchored the French 400-meter freestyle relay team.

There was a dead heat for second in the 200-meter freestyle, giving silver medals to both Taehwan Park of South Korea and Sun Yang of China.

American Ryan Lochte finished fourth, .09 of a second out of the second-place tie.
